I'm envisioning a book-trading social network, based on a libre database of all known book publications, commercial, community, or self-published.
People keen to get particular books, or versions of them, can indicate that with a wanted notice. Potentially including a price offer.
People who have books they don't want to keep, can search the wanted notices, to see if anyone does. Whether as a freecycle, or for a price.
Any thoughts about this, including how to do it?
People doing resource recovery, whether as public services or businesses, are doing such an important job. We need to support them in every way we can, so they can get more unwanted stuff to people who can make use of it.
