My wonderful dudes of the Fediverse (in this case, dude is gendered): if someone makes a statement about something unpleasant, it is not an RFC (request for comments). Don't offer advice when none is requested, it's rude and possibly creepy to do so. And no, trying to be helpful is not a good excuse.
