Nokturnal Mortum – Нехристь (Vinyl)

This edition sounds incredibly good. The vinyl pressing is spectacular, with no frying noise or crackles. The guitars sound super well-defined and open compared to the original CD edition. The drums sound massive. It’s like enjoying the album for the first time all over again.

DW is playing “Sargent Pepper” while doing the accounts. We're listening to Giles Martin's 2019 remaster. He started with the session masters. Transferred them to digital. Reequalized, and remixed the tracks and album. This is a big change from Abbey Road boards to Giles Abbey Road DAW. But he was faithful to father George Martin's original production mixes.
