Bengalee BabuOne thing is clear from the posts I have been seeing on social media since the allegations are made that Mohammed Zafar Iqbal has written books by copying from Google without credit in Bangladesh. Since he wrote about Darwin's theory in the textbook of class seven, many people are trying to prove Darwin's theory wrong. They want to prove the story of Adam to be true. Their weapon has been some fake news (like in India, Facebook-WhatsApp university are also there, flourishing).
There is no scope to discuss Darwin's theory here, I don't have that much knowledge. However, some things can be said on the basis of what I have understood being associated with science practice for the past few years. See, many of Darwin's theories were later disproved, but not the core of his theory of 'survival of the fittest' or 'natural selection'. 'Theory of mutation' of Hugo de Vries, Genetic research of Mendel, 'Germplasm theory' of Weismann and 'Synthesis theory' of Haldane, Dobzhensky etc. corrected Darwin's errors and gave him perfection. Today's genetic research is still doing that. The creation of man from a heavenly being - this theory is still rejected by science, and the evidence against it is overwhelming.
In fact, Darwin's theory struck at the root of theocracy. Fundamentalists have always opposed him. Still doing it today. Even today, a section of the Republican Party of America insists that the seven-day cosmology of the Bible be taught instead of Darwin's theory. India's former Human Resource Development Minister has called Darwin's theory wrong simply by arguing that the Vedas do not mention the emergence of humans from monkeys. And the same situation is being seen in Bangladesh.
Oppose the bad deeds of Mohammad Zafar Iqbal. But don't contradict the facts of science due to that.

বাংলাদেশে মহম্মদ জাফর ইকবাল টুকে বই লিখেছেন এই অভিযোগ ওঠার পর থেকে যেসব পোস্ট সমাজমাধ্যমে দেখছি, তার কমেন্টগুলো দেখলে একটা কথা পরিস্কার হয়। যেহেতু উনি ক্লাস সেভেনের পাঠ্যবইতে ডারউইনের তত্ত্ব নিয়ে লিখেছেন, তাই অনেকে ডারউইনের তত্ত্বটাকেই ভুল বলতে চাইছেন। তাঁরা সেই বাবা আদমের কাহিনীকে সত্য প্রমাণ করতে চাইছেন। তাঁদের অস্ত্র হয়েছে কিছু ফেক খবর (ভারতের মতো ওদেশেও ফেসবুক - হোয়াটসঅ্যাপ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের রমরমা)। ডারউইনের তত্ত্ব নিয়ে এখানে আলোচনা করার মতো পরিসর নেই,আমার অত জ্ঞানও নেই। তবু, গত কয়েকবছর বিজ্ঞানচর্চার সঙ্গে যুক্ত থাকায় যেটুকু বুঝেছি, তার ভিত্তিতে কিছু কথা বলাই যায়। দেখুন, ডারউইনের তত্ত্বের অনেক কথাই পরবর্তীতে ভুল প্রমাণিত হয়েছে, কিন্তু তাতে তাঁর 'যোগ্যতমের উদবর্তন' কিম্বা 'প্রাকৃতিক নির্বাচন' তত্ত্বের মূল কথাটা ভুল প্রমাণিত হয়নি। হুগো দ্য ভ্রিসের 'পরিব্যক্তিবাদ', মেন্ডেলের জিনগত গবেষণা, ভাইসম্যানের 'জার্মপ্লাজম মতবাদ' এবং হ্যালডেন, দোবঝেনস্কি প্রমুখের 'সংশ্লেষণ তত্ত্ব' ডারউইনের ত্রুটিগুলি সংশোধন করে তাকে পূর্ণতা দান করেছে। আজকের জিনগত গবেষণা এখনও সেই কাজ করে চলেছে। স্বর্গীয় কোনো সত্তা থেকে মানুষের সৃষ্টি— এই তত্ত্ব আজও বিজ্ঞানের দরবারে অস্বীকৃত, বরঞ্চ তার বিরুদ্ধে প্রমাণই আছে ভুরিভুরি। আসলে, ডারউইনের তত্ত্ব আঘাত হেনেছিল ধর্মতন্ত্রের মূলে। চিরকালই মৌলবাদীরা তার বিরোধিতা করেছে। আজও করে আসছে। আজও আমেরিকার রিপাবলিকান দলের একাংশ দাবি করে যে ডারউইনের তত্ত্ব না পড়িয়ে বাইবেলের সাত দিনের সৃষ্টিতত্ত্ব পড়াতে হবে। ভারতের প্রাক্তন মানবসম্পদ উন্নয়ন মন্ত্রী ডারউইনের তত্ত্বকে ভুল বলেছিলেন স্রেফ এই যুক্তিতে যে বেদে বানর থেকে মানুষ জন্মের কথা লেখা নেই। আর বাংলাদেশের অবস্থা তো দেখছিই। মহম্মদ জাফর ইকবালের খারাপ কাজের বিরোধিতা করুন। তা বলে বিজ্ঞানের সত্যের বিরোধিতা করবেন না। #বাংলাদেশ #bangladesh #বিজ্ঞান #science #ডারউইন #darwin #ধর্ম #religeon #ভারত #india #আমেরিকা #america #বাংলায়হ্যাশট্যাগ #hashtaginbengali @[email protected] @[email protected]
