So for my #reintroductions on this account I mostly post #photography made during hikes or walks. I bring a camera when I walk and I like to walk in woods. Patterns, textures, plays of light. For the last month or so there have been various login errors experienced on rap.social and the admin hasn't replied or even posted in more months, so, trying another Mastodon instance at the moment.

These folks, seem into tea!

I can dig IT.

I have less than no desire to go back to mastodon.social, there are good reasons I left it years ago.

Checking instances on joinmastodon, this one also seems to be running one of the more recent versions of Mastodon, which I take as a good sign insomuch as it is indicative that their admin tends to track upstream codebases more quickly? Since I am a MacPorts maintainer who tends to pride myself on pushing PRs downstreaming updates within days if not hours of upstream releases, that is more my vibe.

Let's see how it goes!

May create some accounts on some other instances too just for resilience.

Hi, I'm Freya. If I'm not busy hanging out with my kiddos, I love to bike (mountain biking, preferably). If I'm not doing that (or it's a balmy -10 F outside), I'm usually facilitating or attending some kind of board game/TTRPG event or tinkering with 3D Printing.

I used to do software dev professionally (.NET, C/C++, LabVIEW, JS, Python) and miss it terribly, but my brain can't seem to find the spoons to do it in my spare time.

I've also been playing Trombone semi-regularly for 18+ years, and am getting back into playing Cello after a few years hiatus.
