Just had the experience of having one of Caltrain’s new electrified trains rush past me on its way north and I have to say I’m so thoroughly in love.
I’ve had the old trains go by before and that is always an unpleasant experience from the noice, rumbling, and smell. But the swift and relatively silent whoosh of the new trains is amazing in comparison. Can’t wait for the old trains to phase out entirely!
