scops@ravenbrook i would suggest a @mntmn #ReformNext :) the machines are build very solid, hackable and the communication with lukas (...) and the community are awesome. I still use my #reform as sidekick computer (i.mx8 SoM; way too slow to use as my main computer) on my work desk :) really great machine.

Maybe @mntmn 's #ReformNext butbonlynifnyour OS runs on the #SoC's that are supported by it, so it's not as easy to get going and will likely fall flat on it's face in everyday tasks if one's not a CS dropout or sth.
