I've seen a lot of posts about getting into PC gaming and the top comments are always "DON'T BUY A LAPTOP" They are just awful now

#ConsumerDevices in general are shit:
- You know how much #AntiRepairDesign I've seen with #Laptops? #Apple leads the pack but everyone copies all the bad things that make their #MacBook|s shit and none of the good things like an #OS that doesn't suck!
If I had to buy a #Laptop, I'd buy a @frameworkcomputer / #Framework13 #DIY, hands down cuz #Windows is a can't use & won't use no-go for me!

Maybe @mntmn 's #ReformNext butbonlynifnyour OS runs on the #SoC's that are supported by it, so it's not as easy to get going and will likely fall flat on it's face in everyday tasks if one's not a CS dropout or sth.
