i go through phases of hating computers and wanting it to work and others where i adore 9front and bsd and unix like things.
i still keep procrastinating learning c, which i need to do.
when my linux laptop dies and i have money im going to replace it with an #mnt reform. hopefully by then (maybe 4 or 5 years from now) i will be out and clear of stupid software that education makes me use (teams and all that bullshit). give me email, irc, and some sms.
anyway, my ideal would be to just run #9front or #openbsd on it.

i cant believe im saying this but, a macbook was kinda the economical option. i like the unix like system that macos is, doesnt mean its perfect but it should be fine, I dont love apple but its sensible
I bought it with an education discount with the education pro apps bundle, mainly just for logic pro because i love making music. I would ask the linux people to forgive me but if i didnt care about gaming then i would just be using freebsd or openbsd, or hell, 9front is the best os out there.

Ill be real here, i needed a laptop for university that i can kinda rely on, no way am i going back to windows so that discards a bunch of laptops. I was originally looking at framework and mntre, however framework prices have skyrocketed with ram prices and mntre isnt releasing the mnt reform next in god knows.
