Dang. I am doing some practice searches on a certain major subscription database prepping for a consult. This may be first time I go through list of results, and one article has an actual "retraction note." I check note, and it seems some serious academic #fuckery happened.
Looks like this could be one of those days. I barely sit down at work for my coffee, to check email and news, when an external patron comes up with a stumper of a question. Yep, do some research, go down to archives, and then followed up with caller.
Christians may be in church today and/or having Easter dinners. Meanwhile, this happy heathen is working the #ReferenceDesk today. In person or virtually, you have questions, I've got answers. . . maybe. đŖđ
This is why I get "in trouble" at times. I add a student for a research consult "outside" of the library's calendar (off the books) because there is no availability on the calendar, so I sneak them as long as I got a spot available in my personal calendar.
