I agree that profit motive is extremely problematic when it comes to climate change issues.

Also true, if we the consumers stop our endless, addictive consumption of every little thing that tickles our fancy, including pizza, the corporations will have to pivot. And honestly, they won't matter very much. Because a broke corporation is not doing much of anything.

I want corporations strictly regulated for the benefit of the planet and all the living things on the planet. Getting voters to insist on strict corporate regulation is every bit as hard as getting people to slow their consumption.

We need to push hard on all fronts, including the political front to change laws and the personal behavior front, which means changing our own behavior with a smile and a swagger such that others follow our lead.
