U.S. FDA revokes authorization for artificial colorant FD&C Red No. 3 due to cancer risks. May go by the name of erythrosine outside USA. In Europe its called E127 and used only to color cherries for drinks, candies cherries and for Bigarreaux Cherries. Must be gone from US foods by Jan 15, 2027, drugs one year later.
