As someone who tried to make a new language and gave up after a month or two, three years...

I really enjoyed this RC #localhost talk that Ryan gave on the programming language she has been working on Felt.

She covers topics about what goes into building new languages and her case for a trying to make a smaller #rustlang, and shows some of the basic aspects of Felt. Love it!

HTML.energy day wooo!

I went to the Portland event hosted by https://the-sudo.net.

The site I slapped together is a random collective noun generator - lots of people contributed nouns at the event - I think we as a group were called an "unordered list".

It might be a little bird heavy because I obsess over birds. If there are collective nouns I missed throw them in the comments of this thread - I'll add them if they fit.

It was also nice to meet some recurse center folks in person and see some XOXO people again.

Fellow #recursecenter alum @nicole has written a great blog post. All of her posts are pretty durn good though! It's about thinking over Boolean usage your code just a tiiiny bit more before jumping to use them.
