L’ex attaccante della Nazionale, che si avvicina ai 53 anni, ha pubblicato una foto scattata dal letto di ospedale: indossa il camice, al polso ha il braccialetto sanitario e sulla mano è visibile l’ago-cannula.
È stato lo stesso Vieri a spiegare cosa è successo, rassicurando subito i fan sulle sue condizioni. “E anche questa è andata!”, ha scritto nella storia pubblicata sui social. Nello scatto l’ex calciatore tiene un braccio sollevato e con la mano fa il segno della vittoria, un gesto che lascia intendere come l’operazione si sia conclusa senza problemi. Subito dopo ha chiarito anche il motivo dell’intervento: “Tolto un ossicino che andava in giro per il mio ginocchio!”. Nella foto condivisa sui social, Vieri ha mostrato anche il contenitore nel quale è stato conservato il piccolo osso rimosso durante l’operazione.
Negli ultimi anni l’ex centravanti di Inter, Juventus e Milan si è appassionato al padel, sport diventato molto popolare anche tra gli ex calciatori. Proprio pensando al ritorno in campo, Vieri ha voluto lanciare un messaggio rassicurante agli amici e agli appassionati. Sempre attraverso Instagram ha scritto: “Pronto tra un mese per il nuovo torneo di padel!!!”, lasciando intendere che il recupero dovrebbe essere rapido.

The former national team striker, who is approaching his 53rd birthday, posted a photo taken from his hospital bed: he wears a gown, has a medical bracelet on his wrist, and an IV cannula is visible on his hand.

It was Vieri himself who explained what happened, immediately reassuring fans about his condition. “And this one went well too!” he wrote in the story posted on social media. In the shot, the former footballer holds up one arm and makes a victory sign with his hand, a gesture that indicates that the operation concluded without problems. Immediately afterwards, he also clarified the reason for the procedure: “Removed a little bone that was wandering around in my knee!” In the photo shared on social media, Vieri also showed the container in which the small bone removed during the operation was preserved.

In recent years, the former Inter, Juventus and Milan striker has become passionate about padel, a sport that has become very popular even among former footballers. Precisely thinking about his return to the field, Vieri wanted to send a reassuring message to friends and enthusiasts. Always through Instagram, he wrote: “Ready in a month for the new padel tournament!!!”, implying that the recovery should be quick.
