Did a little experiment today.

Bought "Cooking Molasses" by mistake a while ago. Surprisingly robust flavour. Not pleasant straight out of the container. Ruined the pancakes a few months ago.

Made Soft Molasses Cookies this evening with the cooking molasses.
Turned out really, really good! They are the best molasses cookies I've ever made. No contest.

Apparently that's why it's called cooking molasses.😁 Probably will never be able to find it again.
