Fixing politics starts by fixing voting.
Today, I signed my first ballot initiative petition which will permit/require ranked choice voting in #Michigan elections. Kiddo and I travelled several counties away today to hangout with family at a public outdoor event that had enough attendees to attract the canvassers for #RankMIVote.
Michigan has voter referendum. If enough signatures are collected, we the people get to decide about #RankedChoiceVoting which we desperately need.

If you are in Michigan, consider signing the ballot proposal to bring Ranked Choice Voting to our state.
This method of voting means so-called "spoiler" candidates aren't a thing. Vote for the best candidates, and rank your second and third choice in case your first choice doesn't win. It also means that a majority of votes is required to win! No more elected officials who only got 30 or 40% of the vote.
