This recall affects items sold under the brands.This bacterium causes a severe and sometimes fatal systemic infection in the very young, older frail individuals, and those with weakened immune systems. Listeria can also trigger miscarriages and stillbirths. These tuna salad item were sold in Albertsons, Randalls, Tom Thumb, stores located in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas and in Jewel Osco stores in Illinois, Indiana and Iowa. If you purchased these products, do not to eat them but return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Also, be certain tothoroughly clean and sanitize any surfaces or containers that may have come into contact with the recalled products to prevent cross-contamination since listeria can survive in refrigerated environments. Researching #grocery stores in other parts of the nation (just out of curiosity) and damn… does #HEB have me spoiled! Most of the other places I’m looking at only offer a regional version of the same #Albertsons (#Randalls here in Texas) or #Krogers. This saddens me.
