The @diningcar I’m sitting in right now has 40 comfortable seats with chairs and tables 👍
The dining car I sat in before had ~12 seats, of which 8 were sort of comfortable but not really.

#ÖBB 🇦🇹 #Railjet2 #RailjetNewGen seen today: a mix of #ÖBB 1293 #Vectron and 1216 #Taurus haulage. There isn’t an abundance of ÖBB passenger locos for workings in Italy available. This leads, sometimes, to engine changes en route: 1293 048 did RJ86 and, after a short layover at Innsbruck, RJ87 today.

Travelling on board an #ÖBB #DaNi #RailjetNewGen #Railjet2 trainset northwards to #Innsbruck. An ÖBB Class 1293 #Vectron, one of just five passenger 1293s, is hauling the train between #Verona 🇮🇹 and #Innsbruck 🇦🇹. And yes, there’s a @diningcar where one can enjoy a nice lunch.

Boarding trains that are served by the new #Railjet2 / #Nightjet2 / #DaNi (by #ÖBB) has been quite chaotic recently. When the train arrives at the platform none of the passenger information systems are working. Neither on the out- nor inside the train number, train destination or coach number are shown, also whether a seat is reserved or not.
