This is brilliant. I picked up a #DBX 166a last year. I haven't used it much. Was <$50. Maybe one day I can send it it to be modded and tuned up.

Forgive my ignorance. I feel like I've only seen pictures of the Mesa Studio Pre. That may be because I don't know when I'm looking at a Studio Preamp 22. Does anyone have pictures of the Mesa Studio Pre 22? Does the '22' say 22 on the unit?

What are the differences between the two? Are the Studio 22 and 22 Plus combo amps?

Does anyone know of any guides to hooking up either of these to a power amp?

Any help satisfying my curiosity would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
