A photo taken on the “Ligne des Alpes” 🇫🇷 in 2003 (or early 2004) from the rear cab of an #SNCF #X73500 “A TER” railcar: A class #X2720 #RGP #RGP1 DMU, displaying the blue “Rhône-Alpes” regional livery, is leaving for #Grenoble. These units were originally built in the 1950s for long-distance services.

A slide of poor quality but rich in emotions: my only picture featuring an un-refurbished (i.e. still round-nosed) #SNCF 🇫🇷 class X2720 #RGP1 unit and an #ETG class #T1000 #Turbotrain, two French railway design classics.
