DIY RF Power Meter Achievement Unlocked (initial functionality achieved). Reviewed code, made tweaks, found cal-offset magic numbers and calibrated temperature (single point) and input RF level over -55 to +5 dBm at my test oscillator’s frequency of 100 MHz. RF Power Meter works stand-alone (no PC). Would like to add serial output data in future, but no rush at the moment. Thanks to DL9SEC for sharing his Arduino code for a similar RF sensor!

A smaller cleaner hardware platform might be one of these TinkerKit Leonardo-based displays. Either way, the code for these 2x16 LCD display modules is mostly the same. Would prefer developing using LabVIEW, but good to brush up on Arduino sized code and might have some fun getting one of these boards/displays working as a simple RF power meter.

So here is a guy cooking a hotdog with a 10kw RF antenna. A bonus is it plays the radio audio as it cooks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgDxXDV4_hc

The antennas near our house are 200kw.

I don't plan on touching them whilst grounded so I'm not too concerned, but I am now wondering if I can just put up an antenna and steal power. Screw solar and wind, our house will be powered by MEDIUM WAVE BABY!
