Onto chapter 13 of Cold Morning.

I'm onto chapter 8 of Dans Narrative in the present but only chapter 5 of Will in the future. Because Will is reacting to Dan's letters

Sleep is a wonderful thing.

It doesn't happen often but last night I was doing writing drafts and then tearing them up as all wrong. I knew what was wrong but did it over and over.

Went to bed and the draft wrote itself while I was asleep, looks good now.

Today is going to be rough. I was off the grid for a week and today I have to do a bunch of writer stuff.

Do my final read-through of the next chapter, and try to catch those "how did that slip by stuff. Like this sentence with no closing quote.

Post it and publish the release.

Integrate long-distance beta readers' comments before I do my sit-down session tomorrow with my chief beta reader. (And d*mn the distance one had a good comment that is going to take some work.)

Write down my thoughts from the break before I forget them,

Communicate with my illustrator and get illustrations for the next two chapters. I like her work, but boy is she insecure.
