In drier climates, even some WWII quonsets have survived. There are 3 U.S. military quonsets sold as surplus to Canada after the war that were used as theatres; one of those, in the Crowsnest Pass, is being refitted for use again (it closed 20 years ago).
#Quonsets are still commonly seen on the Canadian prairies. They make good, cheap equipment barns, so there are still new ones going up on farms and for storage of municipal road/construction equipment and that sort of thing.
