"The best thing to do to deal with multicollinearity is just stop being a whiny-ass baby about it." - #QuantitudePod
This week's #Quantitude podcast is both informative, funny, and opinionated (as per usual). https://quantitudepod.org/s5e02-multicollinearity/
I've done four postgrad courses on #statistics, but none of them ever defined "likelihood". It's like all the lecturers just assumed someone else had defined it for us. Haha!
So I was able to derive a maximum likelihood estimator, but I couldn't explain what I was maximising, and why.
But then I started listening to the #quantitude podcast. The hosts are so funny, and I get to level up my stats while I'm washing the dishes. :)
Little late to this amazing episode of the #Quantitude podcast, but since it's on the history of #statistics and #quantitative sciences, maybe that's appropriate ๐ .
