Very happy to see our article on a System for #sonic Explorations with #EvolutionaryAlgorithms published in the #journal of the #audio #engineering #society https://doi.org/10.17743/jaes.2022.0137 which enables #SoundSynthesis with #QualityDiversity #algorithms and is among other things based on #NodeJS and #DNN
AES E-Library » A System for Sonic Explorations With Evolutionary Algorithms

The discovery of new sounds can inspire creativity, and various approaches have been explored in that effort. One approach is the application of evolutionary algorithms to sound synthesis. The work presented here is related to those efforts and focuses on the properties of pattern-producing networks and neuroevolution. The authors chronicle a journey of concept development and implementation iterations. A discussion of a browser-based environment facilitating such explorations is followed by...

For those who listen to #brownNoise on YouTube, then this #stochastic navigation by #AudioStellar of sounds from #evolutionary #QualityDiversity search, may be an alternative:

At least for me, a long time fan of Steady State Music by Wieland Samolak (https://roberthenke.com/releases/ir-01.html), this round turned out to be some kind of an #ambient #music piece with surprisingly many pleasant segments (with all sorts of unpleasantry in between). Next installation may be more challenging.
