Today I'm hoping to start formal study of #Quranic #Arabic vocabulary and grammar. I'll tackle the standard #Naskh script first.

It will eventually be important for me to learn #Maghribi script (used in #NorthAfrica today and #Andalucia centuries ago), because I would like to learn some of the #Qasida songs of the #Mouridiyya of #Senegal. But that will be much easier if I have words and word forms under my belt.
