#Kayak parked, ready for lunch. #Puhoi

About to set off on our first #kayak outing for quite a while. Launch at #Wenderholm, paddle 7.5 km up to #Puhoi, lunch at the pub, then back downstream.

This is our #kayak parked with other vehicles at the #Puhoi pub. We paddled from #Wenderholm to the pub on the Puhoi River with an incoming tide. Had lunch and paddled back on the outgoing tide. 15km round trip. The trolley is a #SeaTug which I remove and strap on the back, upside down, for paddling.

Went for a walk in #Puhoi this weekend. Online descriptions of the track list it as "easy" but I would put it more in the moderate category due to the stair climbs. Fairly steep climb from the domain up to the ridge. Wonderful views from the top (photo doesn't do it justice). Unfortunately cows from the adjacent farm had managed to get onto sections of the track, making it seriously muddy. Glad I had my water/mud proof boots on! Would have been better with gumboots.
