For the Democratic Socialists of America, this is a triumph beyond their wildest dreams. AOC won in a single House district. Sanders never won a presidential race. And Mamdani, unlike both of them, is cadre DSA, a proud member who has done a tremendous amount of organizing within the socialist ranks and counted himself as a leader of the socialists in Albany. This victory belongs to them above anyone else.
My indefatigable, committed and intrepid wife Bev has been one of the thousands of heroes of the #MamdaniForMayorNYC campaign that has successfully brought #ZohranMamdani to the brink of being nominated as the Democratic candidate for the mayoralty of #NYC

Earlier today I met my intrepid and indefatigable wife Bev to join a crowd at a spot in our neighborhood north of Dyckman street where our council person, Carmen De La Rosa, grew up. Shortly De La Rosa showed up with #ZohranMamdani and we all proceeded south to walk along Dyckman and visit some of the stores. It was difficult to take photos, the crowd around the two was so thick. But we managed to get one.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that my wife who, as a member of NYC DSA Ecosocialists group, spent hours every week over the course of four years to get the New York Build #PublicRenewables Act passed, helped build the foundation on which #ZohranMamdani could proceed as an assembly person.
Politicians get great things done in collaboration with intrepid and committed citizens.
