I also noticed that some leafs had fallen off this Pachyphytum oviferum. My chance to do my first #proplifting! :P

I asked nicely, and the response was a relaxed "Yeah, you can take it! Feel free to break off more leafs!" :O

At home depot #proplifting

This #proplifting success (taken from a massive purple sword plant in Waterloo station). First pic is on the day I got it and second pic is today!

It’s grown so much, loving the pon, but lost the purple colour. I imagine it’s not getting as much sun now the winter set in.

Next spring I’ll take a cutting for @stavvers and spread the free plant joy #houseplantsofmastodon

I’m in an alocasia group on Facebook and I commented that sometimes I corm dive when big box stores have alocasias. If you can find a corn it’s a free plant! Someone has reported my comment and it’s been removed 😅 people are so weird about #proplifting and think it’s theft! Imagine worrying about stuff like that. It’s different if it’s a small shop, but even so, yoinking a corm is a victimless crime.
Proplifted this from Waterloo station and it’s grown a flower! 😍 maybe it thinks it’s about to die and is giving a last ditch effort to have a baby #PropLifting

Last year I proplifted a couple of baby sempervivum rosettes that were blowing around the pavement in town, having presumably fallen off someone's plant purchase, and prodded them down between paving slabs in my garden where nothing else grows. They've flowered and were beautiful until the blackbirbs pulled the flower heads off in their endless quest for delicious bugs. /morituri te salutant

@milkteawitch give it a go! I'd send you some cuttings but a) I'm a stranger from the internet! but also b) I don't have any rooted right now.

But... I cannot say this is strictly legal...
But if you find one just snip off a length of vine at the end with a couple of leaves on it (#proplifting)
Then shove that in water and it'll grow roots from the nodes at the bottom of the leaves

Here's what it looks like to root them in water:

@idoubtit I'm okay with a bit of #proplifting
