You have to love both the church and corporate media. The first paragraphs of the story relate the "shock" that this priest was assaulting women.

Later in the story it is recounted that this guy has been known to hit on every woman that was unfortunate enough to venture within a hundred feet of him, since the 1950s!!. He was literally assigned a chaperone according to the story.

But they were SHOCKED after his death when women continued to report being assaulted, even when he was in his 90s.

The headline should have read, "Church once again failed to reign in life time sexual predator."

It is not only shameful that the Catholic Church actively protects such criminals. Even worse, he likely died secure in the knowledge that because he said "Sorry." to a magic sky wizard, he will go to a great reward.

No such person should ever die comfortably, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
