Today was week 5 of the current 8-week potter class I'm teaching. I may take the next session off. It would be good for my mental health to have that time to myself to get ready for the Oaxaca retreats. I'll miss 3 classes if I don't take off the full session, anyway.
The fomo has me, though!
Teaching glazing to my class this morning, and walking in with a better plan than usual out of necessity. This is a bigger class, and they aren't the best listeners. They also want to produce professional quality pottery after 4 weeks of classes. Today I shall include obstructions, and I shall not waver. I SHALL NOT WAVER! I will be explicit about the reason for obstruction.
May the divinity of the muds be with me on this rainy Monday.
