There's a tornado warning to the west in Will and Kankakee counties in Illinois.
That storm will blow through the accident area on I-65 in Lake and Jasper counties in Indiana shortly.

There's a big crash on I-65 in Northwest Indiana.
I-65 is closed going south at the Lowell, Indiana, exit (MM 240) to Roselawn (MM 230). People going south are taking a county road through the Kankakee River area that runs parallel to I-65.
There's also a tornado watch in the area this evening as well.

Never forget that Donald Trump, Jr., aka "Cocaine News," has property in the Cedar Lake / St. John area and wants to control a water supply for a development owned by a Trumpy developer in the area, so it might be a reason why Trump is interested in this race.

This is why the Trumpy cross guy is attacking the incumbent GOP state senator (who is Catholic, so maybe no cross for him?):
Trump wanted Indiana's Congressional districts redone to make the state 100% GOP.
The local GOP state senator said no to Trump b/c his district is in a blue county with a Dem congressman.
Trump is mad, so his money people are bankrolling a candidate who worships Daddy Trump.
