I previously worked on the https://sparcs.info/en/cities/espoo/ project to develop #PositiveEnergyDistricts that would allow prosumers to trade their surplus electricity within that district, but without the support of the local distribution utility this was not possible. The district would not be off-grid, it would rather support the national grid by trading, and offering #demandsidemanagement aggregation and energy storage services.

Hi everyone, this is an #introduction post.

I am a PhD student at Uni Basel, researching #energycitizenship, #energy #businessmodels, and what a #decentralized #energysystem could look like (with some #environmentalpsychology sprinkled in). I also focus on #PositiveEnergyDistricts.

My research is both qual and quant: #econometrics , #spatial data etc.
