To whomever at Portland Parks and Recreation decided “we re-branded, we should put the new logo on all the park signs” — I hate you.

I think about you every day as I pass the park and am annoyed by the screwed in white sign — that is visually distracting and repeats WHAT WAS ALREADY ON THE SIGN BELOW.

Old carved wood signs are beautiful. This new logo screwed on for NO REASON is not.

The path around the newly remade drinking water reservoir remains closed off. They had a sneak peek two weeks ago, but the park remains unfinished with the small bits not yet installed.

When this thing is open, I'm gonna plop myself up here and chillout. This place needs to have a dozen #PokemonGo Pokestops.

When I worked on NW Lovejoy the best parts of the day were the coffee walks that took us to Sisters and then to Tanner Springs Park.

Spot the wildlife: Skimmer and Meadowhawk, Mallard family.
