A book in a different format than your usual - March 12, 2026 - I don't usually read digital format books, I prefer print editions, but this was the version I had access to. This story is quirky, fast paced, with over-the-top characters and scenarios. It's silly and fun. The last line made me chuckle out loud.

A book about teen angst - February 25, 2026 - This is the first book in a series about a high school for paranormal teenagers. Drrrrraaaaamaaa! It's cute, and the author doesn't pull punches just because it's written for young adults, but the tone is still a bit too juvenile for my enjoyment.

A book with a character who navigates infertility - February 23, 2026 - This book has a few characters dealing with infertility in different ways. I'm disheartened how society continues to only value women for their reproductive abilities and the vile way women are treated if infertile. This story is both horrifying and uplifting.
