There is a surprising number of 'sex to save your life' or 'illness equals horny', and very often, 'illness makes you horny, and sex will cure your illness and save your life' narratives in Star Trek. Honestly, one of the horniest galaxies. If not THE horniest Galaxy out there. Voyager S03E16 'Blood Fever' is particularly egregious (and aggressive!).
