You have to travel through British Columbia to get to Point Roberts, Wa., and it's usually full of Canadians, visiting their vacation homes or nipping across the border for cheaper gas. These days, the community of 1,000 people is receiving just a trickle of visitors from across the border, and some locals view Trump's tariffs as an existential threat.
