Dinner tonight was at #PlazaInn, and I had the pot roast, which I haven't had in a long time. It was really good, but I don't remember them being that generous with the meat. #Disneyland

Lunch at #PlazaInn also included sharing the gingerbread cake. The cake part was great, but the frosting was sweeter than I prefer, especially the thicker bits on top and the side, so I didn't have as much of that. The little gingerbread man (made of chocolate) was so cute and all dressed up with a bowtie! The side of the cake was prettily decorated too. #Disneyland

Started off the first day of 2025 with lunch at #PlazaInn and their delicious fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, and some nice green beans. I did not even bother with the biscuit this time. #Disneyland

Dinner tonight was at #PlazaInn . The salmon dish there has a different presentation now - it now has a lemon butter dill-caper sauce. Comes with rice pilaf (though you can ask for the regular mashed potatoes if you'd prefer, but the rice pilaf is good) and "seasonal vegetables". I've never seen anything there but green beans, which sometimes have included yellow wax beans in the past, but nothing else. Very nice dish. #Disneyland

New dessert at #PlazaInn - Black Forest Bundt Cake, with cherry filling, chocolate ganache, Halloween sprinkles, chocolate mousse and a chocolate spider web. The cherry is nicely tart, and everything is delicious. It would make a nice dessert stop with a cup of coffee if you had lunch or dinner elsewhere too. #Disneyland #halloweentime

Lunch yesterday was at #PlazaInn , and I decided to finally try the pot roast. Resisting the fried chicken is always hard, and I'm waiting for the current not-to-my-liking salad to go back to the really good cobb salad that has always returned.

I enjoyed the pot roast, and it had good flavor, but it wasn't quite as tender as I've had elsewhere, which is usually in smaller pieces, and I also like the usual vegetables that come with pot roast. #Disneyland

For those of us who liked to order the kid's meal to get a bite of the fried chicken if we didn't want the entire platter, this is really a disappointment. A friend asked if she could substitute a chicken leg for the tenders, and she was told no. #PlazaInn #Disneyland #magicisback #magicishere

Not sure when this change happened, but we noticed it last night, that the kid's meal at #PlazaInn now includes chicken tenders rather than a fried chicken drumstick like it used to. I can understand having chicken tenders at other locations, but this place literally has fried chicken! #Disneyland #magicisback #magicishere 1/2
