We won’t give away too much but there is a new character called ‘Happy Man’ who’s a combination of the original movie’s hotel manager and narrator of the story.

Groundbreaking #Montreal #writer #DavidFennario, who died Saturday at age 76, once picketed his own play at #PlaceDesArts in support of striking ushers.

Fennario was facing several health issues and died of organ failure Saturday, his family said. He had been battling the effects of #GuillainBarré syndrome since 2002.
