Yamaha XT500 vor den Getreidesilos – Ein Hauch von 1981

Es gibt Orte, die auf den ersten Blick unscheinbar wirken – und doch erzählen sie Geschichten. Die mächtigen Getreidesilos erinnern an die Landwirtschaft, an Erntezeit, an harte Arbeit und an das Landleben. Genau hier fühlt sich die Yamaha XT500 erstaunlich wohl. Sie war Anfang der 1980er Jahre nicht nur ein Motorrad, sondern ein zuverlässiger Begleiter für Menschen, die Freiheit und Abenteuer suchten.

Neben der XT500 steht eine junge Frau im Stil des Jahres 1981. Jeans, schlichtes Shirt, robuste Stiefel und der Crosshelm lässig in der Hand – ein Bild, das den Zeitgeist dieser Epoche einfängt. Damals war Endurofahren mehr als ein Hobby. Es war ein Lebensgefühl. Man brauchte kein Navigationsgerät, keine Elektronik und keine Fahrmodi. Ein voller Tank, eine Landkarte und die Lust auf unbekannte Wege reichten völlig aus.

Für mich sind solche Motive mehr als nur Fotos. Sie sind kleine Zeitreisen zurück in eine Epoche, in der Motorräder Charakter hatten und jede Ausfahrt ein kleines Abenteuer war.

Wo der Tag endet und die Freiheit beginnt

Manchmal braucht es gar nicht viel, um den Kopf freizubekommen – nur den Schlüssel drehen, den Motor starten und losfahren. Genau diese Momente halte ich in meinem Fotoblog „Bikertour“ fest.

Unterwegs bin ich meist auf meiner Africa Twin (Baujahr 2019), oft nach Feierabend, wenn die Straßen ruhiger werden und das Licht weicher wird.
