On a real note, though: Instagram didn't notify me of my post's deletion up until one hour ago where they told me they reviewed it and allowed it back online. This makes me believe one thing: it was automatically taken down, due to the number of reports or something of that kind, and a special system activated where an Instagram employee needed to confirm it going back online. Automated, or third party. Something that isn't Instagram or one of its representatives / employees per se. An automated algorithm. Very very thankful for Mastodon automatically telling you when something happened. The work of our moderators can be intransparent, yes! However, never so intransparent that the platform doesn't even have control over what post is deleted. #PissGate
