#IReckopn: There has *never* yet been an outsourcing arrangement (scheme? deal? contract? hmmmm what is the word I am looking for. Oh I know, "burglary") that has produced a lower-cost, better outcome.

The myth that "private is better than public" is a Rasputin - we have to kill it over, over and over again.

If this public body can't do the work, then rip out the thieves and obstructionists and layabouts, and replace them with someone who loves doing the thing.

And in the unlikely event that outsourcing *is* the way forward? (#pffft) - I can sack all the current management. There's other people in the APS who know more about outsourcing than some knucklehead from a little QANGO who wants to feather the nest of his cousin Vinny..

Found the proverbial smoking disk, as the (other) pair of spinning drives sits smack against slot 3. Flipped the slots to see the problem move. Except after the 20 minute downtime the array was handed a *new IP address* so clients are rightfully confused. #Pffft.

Newsom, Shapiro, and Whitmer have said they would not contest Harris. Newsom and Shapiro have endorsed Harris. Whitmer has not, yet.

WHY is Manchin a possibility, @AaronBlake? His inclusion seems like you were reaching really hard for a conservative possibility. Manchin is not a possibility. He's a deeply corrupt, professional spoiler of Democratic legislative goals. He's reviled by Democrats and Progressives.
