The Baba Yaga and Tiny Pants are very fractious at feeding time. So it was good to see Vega saying hi before trying to beat Tiny to the incoming food.

I need pest help 🙏 Does anyone have an effective way to get rid of scale insects? I didn't really find anything that would eliminate all stages. I saw a recommendation for tobacco "tea", but before I go search for tobacco, I'd like to hear other people's experience. The bastards are almost invisible on the plants, and are killing my poinsettia 😭 (it's easier to see them on citrus plants, and scrape them off). I'll take something that will make the sap toxic for them, too.

So, the 'israeli-brothers' (pigeons) are back again crapping all over my doorstep and trying to steal the water and food I give the magpies when they're here (I never leave any food out on the ground, straight from my hand to the magpies beaks when they're here).. And I'm shooing them off around 5 times every hour.. Found out yesterday it's because the upstairs neighbours have been pouring their leftover rice meals into the side garden from their balcony.. how nice of them!.... So again I've placed a polite note in their letterbox about it (second time), third will be a 'strike 3' scenario straight to the landlord and if the pigeons build up again I'll have no choice but to poison them.
