I expect this’ll be fixed in the next release. It’s already in the issue queue.
Edit: The fix is out now. Adding the older version is still broken, however.
A while back, I tried adding peertube.tv to the Framasoft PeerTube app and got the error about the URL not working (it’s an older version of the PeerTube software).
Now I’m using my own instance on the bleeding edge 8.0.0 release and I get the error “This version of the platform is too old.”
I’m assuming it’s too new (I hope), but wondering if anybody has insights. Thanks.

My bad 😅😊, there's a way to make the saved platforms to show up under the Platforms tab in every startup.
🤩🥳 Oh I get it now how the subscription to platforms (instances) in the official Peertube android app works. I simply just need to pin the specific platforms (instances) in my Platforms tab that I want to be visible to be able to view them tapping on the Platforms tab after I open the app.
There's one instance (Platform) that the PeerTube android client app doesn't allow me to add to the list of Platfroms. The instance that doesn't works is https://subscribeto.me, so far this is the only instance that I couldn't add others worked as they should. After I type the instance URL choosing the Add a platform with it's URL and choose Connect the usual popup window appears to Confirm, but it happens nothing when I choose Confirm.
