While looking for an app to record everything copied to the clipboard, I found that a #KeyboardMaestro, which I already own, has clipboard history built in. Like many things in it, setup isn't obvious: in the app’s Editor window find Switcher Group, select Activate Clipboard History and check”Triggered by any of the following”. I set the hotkey to Option-Space which is easier than the weird default. Super useful, glad I found the feature.
Are you using a Clipboard Manager on macOS? If yes, which one?
I have used Copied, then Pastebot, then BetterTouchTool, and now back to Pastebot.
Most important for me: 1) keyboard centric; 2) allowing to combine multiple entries; 3) allowing defining filters and transformations.
Pastebot fits all the above. With the unfortunate limitation that as a sandboxed app, it cannot be extended with scripts/applescripts/etc. (or at least I couldn’t find how)
