KJ and Mac - start by hitting cops with sticks, then end up hitting the rocks with sticks

#PaperGirls wurde nach der ersten Staffel eingestellt, noch bevor die erste Folge lief. Zudem soll die Staffel mit einem großen Cliffhanger enden. Aber jetzt habe ich schon 2 Folgen angesehen.

I don't think any individual part of #PaperGirls is terribly original for a #TimeTravel story, but all the pieces are put together in a completely unique way that is so very refreshing. And the characters are so well written and acted in the show that it should be compelling even if you aren't a fan of #SciFi. Such a shame there is only one season.

Just finished reading the last two TPBs of the Paper Girls comic. Excellent arc. Finishing up the book series made me so unhappy that the TV series didn't make it. Netflix? No, Amazon. It wasn't a great show, but there's enough story that it could've grown into a good show. Re-reading the first four in the set and I'm catching a lot of what I didn't the first time through.

#PaperGirls vol. 3: Continuing to be a wild adventure through time filled with confusion and excitement, Paper Girls is absolutely excellent. I cannot say how relatable the general mundane experiences really are for young girls (not having that life experience) but it feels natural and genuine.

Mac and KJ have the best conflicts so far and I am on the edge of my seat for every development. Erin and Tiff are also great and I look forward to their sections as well.

Read the full run of _Paper Girls_, the graphic novel which inspired the short-lived Prime series.

I’ve been trying to articulate something like a review for this and I think the most succinct description I can come up with “imagine four men decided it was important that they create a comic book about four girls.” Like. Yeah.

There are a whole bunch of really cool panels. In fact most of this book seems to be stitching together a bunch of cool panels and little else.
