Or yu remember that the long side of a DIN n sheet is

2^(-n/2+1/4) m long.

Hmm. Ok, maybe not catchy, but precise, and derivable from the 1 : sqrt(2) ratio and the 1 mΒ² of the DIN A0 sheet.

I've got a #paperFormat #question and would appreciate comments from people in North America!
The closest to 4x6 inch filecards I can find for a not-exorbitant price here are 100x150 mm, which is a little smaller - about 1/10th of an inch on the long side, 0.063 inches on the short side.
Is that close enough to fit in photo picture frames and mats, or generally count as 4x6?
