I still have a fondness for Palladium RPGs, but I mostly only collect them these days using the annual holiday bundle. I’m unlikely to actually use the system, but they are fun books to mine for ideas.

I got the two Rifts China books, and two fantasy books, Balgor Wastes and Eastern Kingdoms.

It does make me think about what system I would use if I were to run something in the setting.

I rolled Lizard, decided gecko because I had a Leopard Gecko in college. Yes I named him after the automated statue who protected Crete.

From a conversation on discord, I always kinda wondered why Palladium RPGs don’t have a retro clone, but I think the answer is: it’s never been out of print (TMNT and Robotech licenses excepted).

I actually played more Palladium Fantasy than AD&D when I was young.

But Kevin is still putting out the same games 40 years later.

#Pathfinder1e "Curse of the Crimson Throne" remotely for my former players. Not the biggest fan of the system or Paizo's adventure construction, but the setting is fun.
#TheDarkEye 5E campaign where the PCs currently are on a mission to save a Viking princess from a curse, but get distracted constantly.
#TheDarkEye (using the #ilaris ruleset) retro campaign where we started out playing the baddies (they're just politically persecuted and misunderstood) from an ancient bad adventure and generally wreck the world by assuming every adventure the PCs aren't participating in fails for the "good guy".

Some Inception-like sleeper agent game. Cool story, just hope it doesn't get more railroady. GM wants a story game experience but rules-wise is a bit stuck in the 90s (homebrew WoD/Feng Shui mashup)
