Having said that, and also disliking the fact that it came out of corpo billionaire creators of twitter, I genuinely believe there's some good stuff to pick up from that protocol.

In particular, I think the coolest part of the architecture is server-independent (more like server-migratable) identity, which is kind of amazing.

Activitypub/fediverse should adopt https://helge.codeberg.page/fep/fep/ef61/ soon, and I feel like that'd be even better than what atproto has if I understand correctly.

@cwebber SMTP is kinda like an activitypub inbox, but a bespoke artisanal protocol instead of the more common json-over-https. It's not scary though; there will be gateway machines to help UUCP users route to new SMTP-only mailboxes.

Under layers, the site forgot to mention #gopher :). Also #gemini protocol is rather new I find it quite good.

FWIW I moved my WEB Site to #gemini and using #gopher as a mirror. Both together are far easier to maintain than html.

Anyway I find the link interesting and I added it to my #lynx bookmarks.

Els CLER, en la comissió comarcal d’emergèncias de l’Horta Sud

El 8 juny de 2026 va arrancar la Comissió Comarcal d’Emergències, una de les quatre comissions del Consell Comarcal de Coordinació en Seguretat de l’Horta Sud. Aquesta comissió està formada per institucions i societat civil, en concret les tres principals associacions de víctimes i els CLER (van asistir Antonio Ariño del CLER de Massanassa i Julia Rodrigo del CLER de Sedaví). Com resultat principal de la reunió, es va posar en marxa la redacció del primer protocol comarcal d’actuació en emergències com a eina per als CECOPAL municipals.

Es va consensuar encarregar a la policia local un esborrany del protocol que indique mesures a prendre davant d’emergències i alertes diverses. El protocol estarà orientat als CECOPAL de cada municipi. Encara que la redacció s’encarregà a la policia local, s’esperen aportacions de la resta de participants de la comissió. La intenció és que presenten un esborrany en un mes. Des dels CLER, farem tot el possible per incloure les nostres aportacions.
