My kiddo’s 3rd grade class went on a field trip today to Chinatown/International District to have walking tours hosted by staff from Wing Luke Museum. We took light rail there and back. The teachers encouraged all the kids to use the toilet before we left around 9:30 because there really aren’t any public toilets in the CID anymore with #SoundTransit union station restrooms closed. Kind of absurd for a ~3 hour field trip! #toilet #PRIMBY

Update on #SoundTransit Northgate station: this sign saying a closure would start today is new and I doubt the restrooms were available in the intervening 2 weeks. I finally “got” to use #SoundTransit (& #Amtrak) public restrooms. There’s a guard that demands you leave any bag you may be carrying at a table. Not exactly a pleasant and welcoming experience. Plus its hours are limited (I know it isn’t available after 9pm on Friday). #toilet #ToiletAccess #PRIMBY
